Dan Pepe:

The man behind the company...named after the man!

Hi, I'm Dan! I am happily married to my beautiful wife Alex, and we have three precious young daughters and a son who all keep us very busy! They also keep the adage "time flies" in the forefront of my mind, and that drives me to always capture the best images I can.

A little known fact, I never intended to pursue work with photography. I got my start as a student at Franciscan University of Steubenville in the PR department for their quarterly publication, Franciscan Way. Soon after, and with meager experience, I was contacted by a friend who needed a wedding photographer. After capturing it, word of mouth began fueling the beginnings of my career as a wedding and portrait photographer. Word of mouth and social media continue to be the only way I "advertise."

My objective is always to see and catch the moments that others overlook. Locking memories in time is a priceless gift. That's what it's all about for me. I am humbled and honored when people ask me to photograph because I know how powerful images can be and how the investment in them only grows. Images make us feel certain emotions about ourselves and others. I see photography as a tool that can be used to celebrate life and I see photos as lockboxes for the one thing we can't get enough of: time.

I am primarily shooting portraiture these days, and do about one or two weddings a year because it fits my family-oriented lifestyle best.
