Last night’s outing with Deedee & Ian was truly a pleasure. Engagement shoots like this one are the reason I am a photographer: connecting with great people. I went into the shoot having only met them once in person and a lot thru email and by the time we left, through the conversation that took place and the experience of the whole thing I feel as though I made two great new friends. I have to agree with William Butler Yeats as he claims “There are no strangers here; Only friends you haven’t yet met.” Other than the impeccable weather with an occasional breeze, great chemistry between these two, and them treating Steve and I to Starbucks at the end of the night (the site of their first date), I couldn’t have asked for anything more, except for their wedding day to be here soon! I am so thankful to know you two better and am looking enthusiastically forward to your wedding. Good luck in your big move coming up and I’ll see you again soon! Hope these make your day even better than it already is… because I know it’s hard to top graduation from Med school… but I tried!
Oh, and a brief public service announcement for those of you who don’t know out there… Washington park is NOT A DOG PARK, despite what the insane man with the uncontrollable and obnoxious leash-less German shepherd told us. But I’m over it…. sort of.
