I have to hand it to Deedee and Ian on a lot of levels. Make no mistake, they are a power couple. You know… those people who are good at everything they do, have lots of fun doing those things they are awesome at, and remain humble throughout. From both tackling med school, to planning their wedding from Texas, to the incredible first dance they put on, I just don’t know where it ends with these two. At least on the wedding planning front, I’m sure they would say they had a lot of help. Lots of people to mention here so let’s get cracking: First and foremost, it was such a pleasure to work with Katie O’ & Jillian from Katie O’ Weddings & Events, they were on top of everything; hands down the most capable, easy to work with wedding planning team I have ever worked with. The Mansion Inn of Saratoga housed both the early morning prep and the reception and did a fantastic job, a very classy establishment over there. Make Me Fabulous took care of hair and makeup for the girls in the morning and Flowers by Suzanne provided the beautiful flower bouquets and arrangements. The wedding Mass was at St. Francis of Assisi in Albany, a parish I had never been to, but am very glad I have now. It’s so beautiful in there. We trucked back to the Mansion Inn in a classy Trolley from Advantage Transit Group and Fernando Bustamante from The Piano Man’s DJ Productions was already running the show, ready to lead the charge into the night. I’ve worked with Fernando before, and basically, he’s the man. Lastly but never least-ly, the man who put the aforementioned business together for your motion-picture-viewing pleasure (in preview-form at the bottom of this post!), the ever-talented Steve from Steve Schumaker Videography. Now that I’ve got this down, it’s starting to look like quite the team effort, but every orchestra needs a maestro. Deedee & Ian conducted the band flawlessly. Thanks so much for including us in your beautiful wedding. It was truly a pleasure.
