Keri & Tom’s wedding

Keri & Tom are the best kind of people. It’s truly an ideal wedding when the couple I am working with is a couple I would easily remain friends with after all the business is said and done. I just feel like I blend in more comfortably, and as a result, I take more risks (in an artistic sense) and come out with shots I’m really happy with because I pushed myself. And this was definitely the case with this special day. In editing these photos, I sat at my computer for hours and smiled the whole time. It was just as fun to look at them again, and then make them even better. The joy just radiates from Keri & Tom and that is what makes my job the most fun. I’m just like a mirror, that’s all. A lens, if you would like to get closer to the actual medium. I show you yourself and your love. And if my work is beautiful, it’s because I had something beautiful to say with it, but the words were put in my mouth (camera, if you’re following the metaphor) by you! Thanks for everything- for inviting me in the first place, for booking the cathedral (epic. just epic), for being so great to work with, and most of all, for just being so warm and welcoming and in love with each other.
