The newspaper on the day of the wedding (last Saturday) had an article about how Owensboro was rated one of the top all-American cities in the country. Not bad! I have to admit they get my vote after all the very kind people I met there, from immediate family right on down to the guy with the big moustache I asked to relocate so we could take pictures in the neat spot he was occupying. Southern hospitality and charm aside, this wedding really rocked because our lovely couple really rocks. They are classy, they are funny, they are so easy to talk to, and just so joyful to be newlyweds. One thing I appreciate as a photographer is the chemistry a couple has. Sure, I can tell you to move your arm or get that booger out of your nose bend your knee, but the looks on the faces of a couple in love speaks so much more in a photograph than any posing can portray, no matter how good it is. So thank you, Anna & Wes, for inviting me to be a part of your beautiful wedding day, but thank you so much more for your witness of the joy that love brings. Look on these (and the ones to come) often and hang on tight to what you’ve got!
